FUNDING A
SOUTH ALABAMA HOSPITAL

MPT HELPED MEET AN IMPORTANT REGIONAL MEDICAL NEED IN OUR HOME STATE

With help from MPT, the city of Thomasville in South Alabama has a brand-new hospital to serve the community of about 5,000.
MPT made substantial capital contributions to meet a funding gap and keep construction going during 2019. With a grand opening in February 2020, the new state-of-the-art Thomasville Regional Medical Center now offers quality medical care to Clarke County.

The hospital’s motto captures the advantages: Bringing Healthcare Closer to Home.

That’s exactly why MPT got involved. No longer do area residents have to drive to neighboring Baldwin County and the larger city of Mobile for services such as:
  • Physical therapy
  • Surgery
  • Women’s services
  • Imaging
  • Occupational therapy
  • Inpatient care, emergency room care, lab work, outpatient surgery and more

KEY AREA OF MPT GIVING:
HEALTH & WELL-BEING OF ALABAMIANS

MPT strives to improve the overall well-being of residents in our state. Helping meet the construction costs for such a vital new facility allows us to do that in a big way.

Not only does the Thomasville Regional Medical Center help patients, but it also breathes life into the medical community with upgraded facilities, capabilities and more.
